As the College Director of Veterans and Military Services, Barry has continued to expand involvement of student Veterans and their families in addition to growing support for community Veterans and their organizations across the State. Barry has coordinated Nebraska State Fair involvement to recognize Veterans and personally was recognized with a Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve organization. His leadership has assisted CCC in continuing as a 'Best for Vets College' ranked by the Military Times and a Gold rating designation from Military Friendly publications as 'Military Friendly' for Veterans and designated as 'Military Friendly for Military Spouses'.
