Kim Danehey began her career in the dental field 30 years ago. Ten years ago she landed at Central Community College and has the role of Clinic Assistant for the Dental Hygiene Program. As the Clinic Assistant for CCC?s Dental Hygiene Program, Kim has moved the program forward by transitioning paper patient charts to all electronic charting. She has updated the patient software to include the latest coding for dental hygiene treatments performed by the dental hygiene students. She regularly assists the program with researching needed supplies including infection control updates for dentistry including involvement in OSAP- Organization for Safety Asepsis and Prevention, that focuses on infection control.
