After working in aviation for 30+ years, I did the pandemic pivot, studied for a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language and found the Community College of Aurora, Community ESL program in which to begin career number two as an English as a Second Language Teacher for Adults. I believe my 'innovation' in working with my students comes from going back to basic language, study, and organization skills. I love my students and I thank the Community College of Aurora for nominating me for this award!
