Jennifer Jones has taught Astronomy at Arapahoe Community College for the last 12 years. In addition to teaching astronomy courses, she is currently department chair over the Physical Sciences. A Michigan State University Alumnus, she graduated with a Master in Astrophysics in 2010. She advises undergraduate research projects including a team of student that builds a scientific payload for sounding rockets. She actively works with her college on DEI initiatives and co-chair a committee that facilitate DEI events and workshops for students. She lives in Colorado with her husband and daughter.
