Rose Rojas

 

Biography:
Rose Rojas, Director of the Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation at the Maricopa Community Colleges, has established Maricopa as a national leader in student transfer by creating a university partnership model adopted by community college systems across the country. She is a recognized leader with a record of achievement in curriculum strategy, transfer operations, prior learning assessment, and policy development. Rose has worked in Maricopa for 28 years, with the majority of the time spent in the Division of Academic and Student Affairs. In previous roles, Rose worked in faculty services and support, marketing, financial aid, and workforce development. Throughout her career, Rose has taken on increasing responsibility for leading highly complex organization-wide efforts. These efforts have helped our institutions to think beyond our traditional approaches and practices and provided an opportunity for the colleges to redefine the actualization of Maricopa's mission and promote greater access and equity. Rose is a community college graduate with a B.A. in psychology from Arizona State University and an M.A. in education leadership from Northern Arizona University.
