Matthew Alex, Founder, Beyond Academics

Matthew Alex is the Founder of Beyond Academics, LLC. He also led the Student Technology and Transformation practice as a Partner at Deloitte Consulting. Alex was named GFEL’s Top 100 Leaders in Education and is an Edtech Awards Trendsetter for 2020. He has gained an understanding of both the high-level considerations and unique challenges faced by all parts of the community through his experience with guiding dozens of both Ivy League institutions and rural community colleges on their journey to navigate the frontier of what is technologically and pedagogically possible. For the Campus Pandemic Response Team, he has helped design the framework to ensure all interaction and engagement within the campus.
