What cool stuff does this job do?

Information Technology Services (ITS) at the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is very excited to announce an opening on the Academic Technology team. The team is looking for a professional Program Analyst. The Program Analyst role provides planning and coordination of Academic Technology’s portfolio of programs. The successful candidate will assist with the development and implementation of program/project goals and objectives and will perform research and analysis in support of Academic Technology initiatives.

This position works on programs within Academic Technology including Monitoring & Alerting, Data Interoperability, Data Analytics, Unified Communication, IT Service Management, Learning Management, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation.

And where will my time be spent?

25% - Provides coordination for assigned programs and/or projects; develops or assists with the development and implementation of program/project goals and objectives; monitors and ensures compliance with policies, procedures and standards; responds to inquiries and issues; evaluates issues and researches alternative solutions; and provides recommendations
25% - Prepares complex reports, presentations, correspondence and program documentation; maintains program records, documents, web content and/or related program communication materials; develops marketing and promotional materials; performs program/project research and analysis; researches trends and performs data analysis and reporting
20% - Participates in strategic planning; assists with budget preparation and monitoring; assists with preparing funding proposals, as assigned
20% - Serves as a liaison to constituencies addressing program needs; collaborates with leadership throughout the District, and at the Colleges both in technology and academic offices; and provides professional level staff support and program representation to clients and partners; provides program policy and process information to students, faculty, staff and the public
10% - Performs other duties as assigned

So, I need to have one of the following...

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in any field and two (2) years of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting.
Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting.
High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting.

You'd like me to also have...

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited in any field with three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
• Highly organized with strong project management and task tracking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of product management principles such as conducting research, contributing to product strategy/roadmap, supporting communication plans, coordinating development and administration with team members, release management, and working in an agile format

What can I expect to be paid?

$45,541 - $50,000/annually, DOE
