POSITION TITLE: Director of Women's Center
DEPARTMENT: Student Services & Enrollment Management (SSEM)
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Student Services & Enrollment Management or designee
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Support staff as assigned.
STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Director of Women's Center will lead the Women's Center in fulfilling its mission of serving as a place that facilitates a network of support and resources for women on campus, as well as to initiate and maintain relationships of the surrounding external community. The Director serves as the primary administrator for the day-to-day operations and functions of the Women's Center.
The Director serves as a campus resource that educates the community on emerging issues regarding gender and women. The Director is responsible for establishing the Center's vision and for addressing concerns regarding gender and women issues. The Director will collaborate with other offices and centers of the college and the larger community to build intersections of support for our students. They will also work closely with various students and their led organizations to build leadership skills and develop relevant programming at all campus locations. The Director will continue to build out grant funded programs, such as the Parenting Advancement Pathways program (PAP), designed to support our students who are navigating their educational journey while raising children.
