INTEGRATE BALDRIGE-BASED
QUALITY PRINCIPLES INTO YOUR COLLEGE’S WAY OF WORK
The League’s
Service Division is prepared to help community colleges integrate
Baldrige-based quality principles into their ways of work. While there
is no cookie-cutter approach to integrating quality principles, there
are ways to build knowledge and capacity within existing college
structures and processes.
The League
is positioned to help in several ways:
|
1. |
Provide consultants to perform a quality audit that usually takes
one or two site visits. The audit includes a review of current
structure, practices, and processes as well as a readiness gauge.
A report is written advising college leadership on next steps for
the quality initiative.
|
|
2. |
The
League can work closely with the institution to prepare and train
college constituents and stakeholders on quality principles,
tools, and processes that can be integrated into the college’s
ways of work. This service usually takes four to five days on site
with follow-up as needed.
|
|
3. |
The
League has access to experienced consultants to serve as long-term
guides and partners in the quality integration process. This
service combines Number 2 above with a retainer for regular visits
and offsite work to help the institution successfully integrate
Baldrige-based quality principles into its ways of work.
|
The League’s
Service Division consultants are able to assist in these important
areas:
