Innovation Showcase. Art Beat Festival: Exposing Portland to Art, by James Hill. Portland Community College is into art. The college’s four-campus, weeklong Art Beat festival is in its 21st year and features fine art, music, and dance from renowned artists and performers, a number of whom are PCC students and employees. Read about how, with hands-on demonstrations and workshops, the festival creates a learn-learn situation.
