2007 Campus Computing Survey Under Way
The 2007 Campus Computing Survey was launched last month (August 2007). The annual Campus Computing Survey is the largest continuing study of information technology issues in American higher education. It remains one of the best sources for data and information about IT planning and policy issues affecting U.S. colleges and universities, particularly for community colleges.
Kenneth C. Green, founding director of The Campus Computing Project http://www.campuscomputing.net, reports that more than 100 community colleges participated in the 2006 survey. The results from the 2007 Campus Computing Survey will be presented at the League’s 2007 Conference on Information Technology in Nashville in November. For information about the Campus Computing Project or to participate in the 2007 survey, please contact Kenneth Green.
