Learning Center Courses. Learning Center Courses deliver a body of practical knowledge and applications by supplementing the conference program with in-depth coverage of current topics provided by recognized leaders in the focus areas. These one-day Learning Center Courses comprise three- or six-hour workshops that cover the latest innovations in use at community colleges far and wide. Participants receive certificates of completion for taking Learning Center Courses. Selection of these courses is very competitive and is based on the thoroughness of course content and design. Lecture-only presentations are not accepted.
Forum Sessions. Forums are one-hour sessions that form the core of the conference offerings. Forums are intended for 30 to 50 participants and typically include multiple presenters. Most feature a successful practice, program, or fundamental issue related to promoting innovation, experimentation, or instructional transformation.
Roundtable Discussions. Roundtable discussions are one-hour sessions that offer more personal and interactive venues for the exploration of key issues. These discussions accommodate up to 12 people and are limited to two presenters.
Poster Sessions. Poster Sessions take the form of exhibits and are delivered primarily through the use of visual displays. Conference participants are free to move from one presentation to another during the Poster Session. Presenters are encouraged to have ample handout materials available for participants.
Innovations Streams. Innovations incorporates topics from eight conference streams:
