National Repository of Online Courses (NROC) Launches Collaborative Network
The National Repository of Online Courses (NROC) invites all interested educators to join its free online community, the NROC Network (www.nrocnetwork.org). Through this member-driven network, individuals have access to online multimedia content, professional development resources and discussions, as well as opportunities to participate in collaborative course development. Institutions joining the NROC Network as institutional members enjoy added benefits including unlimited access to NROC courses and multimedia content, iPod downloadable content, free webinars, professional development opportunities, and discounted course evaluations through the OCEP project. The Online Course Evaluation Project (OCEP) partners with WCET to make these online course evaluations available to the public through the Edutools website (www.edutools.info).
NROC is committed to improving online education and makes its Network openly available so that everyone can benefit. NROC Network Institutional Members share this vision and are committed to keeping the NROC content available for everyone. If you are interested in becoming an NROC Network Institutional Member, please contact Terri Rowenhorst at www.montereyinstitute.org.
