Strategic Planning Collaboratively!

San Joaquin Delta College, California used Appreciative Inquiry (AI), a collaborative strength-based approach to change, for strategic planning. Many other community colleges in the United States and Canada are using Appreciative Inquiry for whole systems group and organizational changes, including institutional dialogue in their self-studies for accreditation. The AI approach heightens energy, sharpens vision, and inspires action for change without resistance.

Houston Community College is hosting a four-day AI Facilitator training, February 28 to March 3, 2007. HCC’s conference and training facility are centrally located in the vibrant Houston downtown area. For more information about HCC please visit their website at www.hccs.edu.
