2008 Learning College Summit

Registration is now open for the League’s sixth annual Learning College Summit, hosted by Johnson County Community College. The Learning College Summit will be held June 8-11, 2008, at the Doubletree Hotel Overland Park-Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kansas. Group and member registration discounts are available. Call for Proposals:
Conference on Information Technology

The League is soliciting proposals for the 2008 Conference on Information Technology, to be held October 19-22, 2008, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. College of Eastern Utah, Salt Lake Community College, and Weber State University are hosts for the event. The deadline for submitting proposals is March 21, 2008.

 

The Cross Papers Fellowship
Call for Proposals

The League invites community college practitioner-scholars to submit proposals for The Cross Papers Fellowship. The proposal deadline is April 30, 2008. For more information, visit www.league.org/crosspapersfellow/guidelines.html.

League Innovation of the Year
Competition Now Open

The 2007-2008 Innovation of the Year competition is now open and League Alliance Member institutions are invited to participate. Thirty-nine awards were granted in the 2006-2007 competition in recognition of faculty and staff at League Alliance Member colleges who have designed and implemented significant innovations. Winning innovations will be featured on the League website and in League publications in the spring of 2008.
