Innovations 2008 Early Registration
Ends February 1

Early registration is now open for Innovations 2008, and early and group registration discounts are available through February 1. The League has arranged a special conference room rate at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Denver. Reserve your room by February 1, 2008, to qualify for the $139 conference room rate. You won’t want to miss Innovations 2008, March 2-5, 2008, at the Adam’s Mark in Denver, Colorado, hosted by Community College of Denver.

Call for Proposals
Sixth Annual Learning College Summit

The League invites proposals for the League’s sixth annual Learning College Summit, June 8-11, 2008. This year’s summit will be at the Doubletree Hotel-Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kansas, hosted by Johnson County Community College. The deadline for submitting proposals is February 4, 2008.

 

The League and Microsoft Announce
Terry O’Banion Student Technology Awards

Microsoft and the League seek nominees for the Terry O’Banion Student Technology Awards. The three award recipients will each receive Microsoft software and $5,000. The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2008, and the winners will be announced at the League’s Innovations Conference in early March.

League Innovation of the Year
Competition Now Open

The 2007-2008 Innovation of the Year competition is now open and League Alliance Member institutions are invited to participate. Thirty-nine awards were granted in the 2006-2007 competition in recognition of faculty and staff at League Alliance Member colleges who have designed and implemented significant innovations. Winning innovations will be featured on the League website and in League publications in the spring of 2008.
