New Regional Scan and Program Demand Report

League Supporting Partner, Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc., has just designed a new report for colleges that condenses and organizes essential regional economic data and forecasts for college program planning into a clean, reader-friendly format. The report includes the following information:

    1. Five-year projections
    2. Total population by age cohort
    3. Details on the aging workforce
    4. Details on population by race/ethnicity
  3. Educational attainment
    1. How the region compares to the state and nation in high school and college attainment
    2. Current and projected regional high school graduations by gender, race
    3. Industry data and analysis
    4. Current and projected jobs, as well as change, percent change, and earnings for all broad (two-digit NAICS) industry sectors
    5. Comparison to the state (or nation)
    6. Critical regional industries identified based on growth, employment, concentration (location quotient), and regional competitiveness (shift share)
