Learning and the Road Ahead Available October 9

The League is pleased to announce the availability, beginning October 9, of Learning and the Road Ahead, the report on the League’s triennial study of major trends in the community college. Based on a review of research and practice, a series of focus groups with community college leaders, and a survey of CEOs of League Board and Alliance institutions, this report presents the identified trends in the context of the primary theme running through the findings: a focus on learning. Organized according to seven elements of learning, the report includes sections on the learning swirl, learning needs, learning transitions, learning technology, learning nexus, learning entrepreneurs, and learning reflection. The report is coauthored by Gerardo E. de los Santos and Mark David Milliron, and was published with generous support from WebStudy, Inc. Beginning October 9, the report will be available for purchase through the League Store at www.leaguestore.org, and the digital version will be available through iStream.
