iStream: Innovation at Your Fingertips

iStreamiStream is a powerful web-based professional development tool for administrators, faculty, staff, and students. The many resources available through iStream are selected and designed to foster online discussions, provide easy access to a variety of e-learning experiences, and support professional development for college personnel. iStream users have quick-and-easy access to a wealth of resources. Kathy D’Antoni of the West Virginia Community and Technical College System, notes that “the League for Innovation and iStream are great ways to effectively and efficiently grow your college.” Take a look at some of the exciting and innovative ways our current subscribers are using iStream’s web-based resources in student learning and employee professional development:

  1. Our college has created a custom e-learning adjunct faculty module with iStream content that is updated monthly with new resources.—Anne Arundel Community College
  2. Our college has been promoting the use and advance of the iStream/MITE/iPod content modules for specific departments to include as content resources for students.—Butler Community College
  3. We have challenged our staff development leadership to incorporate iStream resources—conference keynotes, special sessions, and themed monthly updates—to cut back on funding our annual outsource training services and reach broader audiences.—El Paso Community College
