League Services Offers New Workshops

Overseas Program Evaluation. A senior evaluator structures basic assessments and evaluations for all types of international and national programs ranging from individual programs to complex programs involving multiple sites using rotating faculty who teach on differing time schedules. (More information.)

Conducting College Classroom and Program Assessment. A basic, easy-to-understand evaluation system designed to alleviate faculty resistance to assessment is demonstrated in an informal workshop format, with a focus on evaluation of the learning outcomes rather than on evaluation of the instructors. (More information.)

Producing an Edited Book. The workshop facilitator teaches faculty how to develop their own edited books. Workshop topics include ancillary material, book content, co-editors and co-authors, contracts, contributing authors, permissions, project control, and publishers and editors. (More information.)

Psychology Program Evaluation. Periodic outside evaluation of every academic department is now a requirement at many private colleges and most public colleges as well. The consultant, a former psychology department chair, conducts evaluations of psychology departments at private and public colleges and universities. (More information.)
