Each month, the League publishes Leadership Abstracts, Learning Abstracts, and Innovation Showcase. Current issues are available on the League website:

Leadership Abstracts. “Selecting Your Next Technology Leader,” by Wayne Brown (June 2007). Wayne Brown discusses creating the ideal blend of IT and executive skills when choosing the best technology leader for your organization, in the June issue of Leadership Abstracts.

Learning Abstracts. “Leadership in Residence,” by Kelly Dawn Steele (June 2007). As the number of community colleges opening student residence facilities increases, Kelly Dawn Steele reminds college leaders of the role of residence assistants in looking out for students' well-being. She discusses the importance of RA leadership training and ways to develop a program that provides them support to lighten the load, in the June issue of Learning Abstracts.

Innovation Showcase. “Bellingham Tech’s Welding Rodeo: A Promotional and Recruitment Tool,” by Patricia McKeown (June 2007).The competition is heating up at Bellingham Tech’s Sixth Annual Welding Rodeo, but don’t sweat it: Everyone comes out a winner here. Read how this fun event bonds high school and college faculty and staff with the community and has become an elemental tool for campus recruitment, in the June issue of Innovation Showcase.
