MITE Announces 2007 OCEP RFP Awards
The Monterey Institute for Technology and Education (MITE) is pleased to announce that four awards have been made in response to the Online Course Evaluation Project's (OCEP) November 2006 RFP. The evaluation process that OCEP uses involves having a team of evaluators look at the scope, scholarship, and instructional design, as well as pedagogical and production values of each course.
The four courses chosen to receive a free OCEP evaluation include:
- Corning Community College, "Sociology 2030: The Family"
- Florida International University, "Introduction to Sociology"
- Illinois Central College, "LIT 122, Literature of Ethnic America"
- Regis University, "PSY 250, General Psychology"
Congratulations to all those chosen and thanks to all who submitted proposals.
The results of these evaluations will be available at WCET’s Edutools website (www.edutools.info). You can find out more information about the OCEP Evaluation process at www.montereyinstitute.org/ocep or by contacting Diane Threlkeld, OCEP Project Manager, at dthrelkeld@montereyinstitute.org.
