Description: This program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the golf industry, as well as the etiquette, definitions and rules that govern the game of golf. The program objectives include working knowledge of golf facility operations of a golf facility, and the development of policies and procedures for operating a golf facility. Job responsibilities and management strategies will be explored, as well as the planning, organization, and implementation of golf events.

Description: This certificate program provides traditional and non-traditional responders with a better understanding of public health issues during community health emergencies, such as bio-terrorist attacks. Course titles include--What is Public Health?; The Traditional Incident Command System From a Public Health Perspective; Agents, Treatments and Protection for the Health Care Worker; and Public Health Emergency Planning. Students learn the role of public health, incident command systems, response to top biological agents (symptoms, transmission methods, decontamination requirements, protection measures, treatment protocols, and prophylaxis information) and managing community health responses. Each of the four courses is 16 instructional hours in length.
