Description: IS your PSAP up to date? According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, "Training should be mandatory for all personnel who may have contact with individuals from the public who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech impairments. PSAPs should require or offer refresher training to recognize and process TDD calls at a minimum of every six months." This course adheres to recommendations from the National Emergency Number Association's (NENA) Accessibility Committee, TDD Call Taker Proficiency and Quality Assurance Work Group, and is ADA compliant. |
