Description: This Certificate option or A.A.S. Degree Program provides students with an opportunity to seek employment in entry-level casino/gaming positions. For those currently employed in the industry, these programs will enhance opportunities for job advancement, professional growth and career mobility. The Casino Management program offers students a basic knowledge of casino games, as well as casino management, casino marketing, gaming regulations, gaming law, and human relations in the casino industry. In addition to online learning, cooperative education and coordinated internship positions provide an excellent entry in the field, as well as networking and referral opportunities.

In the Hotel Management program, students will obtain a strong knowledge of the basic elements of management in hotel operations with an emphasis on hotel front office, human resources management, hotel marketing, accounting and technology. Description: This Certificate option or A.A.S. program option provides students with an opportunity to seek employment in entry-level travel/tourism positions, and for those currently employed in the industry, these programs will enhance opportunities for job advancement, professional growth and career mobility. The Travel and Tourism program prepares students for career opportunities that include convention and exposition management, meeting and trade show management, the hotel/accommodations industry, recreational activities, special events management, airline and transportation industries and tour directing. In addition to online learning, cooperative education and coordinated internship positions provide an excellent entry in the field, as well as networking and referral opportunities.
