Description: The program is designed for students seeking careers in corrections and law enforcement. The curriculum prepares students to work as criminal justice professionals in prevention, enforcement and investigation fields as police officers; in a variety of positions in the corrections field; or in the area of providing assistance to victims of violence and trauma. A variety of courses are offered in the criminal corrections, law enforcement operations, crisis intervention, investigation strategies, and death and dying.

Description: Introduction to Early Childhood Professions (Introduccion a las Professiones de Ninez Tempranas) is a three-credit course delivered in Spanish, which provides an introduction to Early Childhood Education. It includes the eight key areas of professional knowledge: Child Growth and Development; Health, Nutrition and Safety; Developmentally Appropriate Practices; Guidance; Family and Community Relationships; Diversity; Professionalism; Administration and Supervision. The focus is on birth through age eight.

Description: The Occupational Safety Certificate Program is designed to meet the needs of students employed in industrial settings to better prepare for a safety-related position. The Safety Certificate Program is comprised of courses including, but not limited to General Industry Standards, Construction Standards, Hazardous Materials, Industrial Hygiene, Accident Prevention, Worker's Compensation, and Safety Training Methods. The curriculum meets the guidelines jointly developed by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
