The League for Innovation has created a new national initiative titled the Community College Workforce Partnership Network. This network has emerged from a unique partnership with the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA).
The Network
The Network is a group of community colleges committed to building powerful local/regional workforce partnerships designed to positively impact the college's service area economy. The network will facilitate the collection and dissemination, sharing, and exchange of ideas, information, models, curricula and other vital information among community colleges that are committed to workforce development. The network will bring college workforce leaders together and activities will be driven by the community colleges that participate.
The Network Focus
The Network is most focused on identifying individual college items such as workforce/economic development products, curricula, skills training competencies, career ladder projects and schemes, noteworthy reports, brochures, strategies, and more and making them available to all community colleges.
The CCWPN Network is a partner with ETA's Workforce³One website (www.workforce3one.com) . CCWPN Network colleges will contribute to this site to be a powerful tool for community college workforce development professionals.
