In the first phase of the project (November 2012–August 2013), an Expert Panel was convened to examine the needs, opportunities, and barriers that exist to development of education in/for public health in community colleges. The Panel created a set of Foundational and Consensus Statements that are included in its report, and the project is now seeking feedback on these statements, and on plans for Phase 2 of the project, from public health and higher education communities.
