The Mathways Project

The New Mathways Project builds on the Dana Center's work developing the Statway™ and Quantway™ courses by laying out three pathways consisting of courses that support students' career goals and aspirations. Each mathematics pathway includes transferrable, rigorous, college-level content that meets the requirements of specific academic programs and careers. The pathways are structured to enable students to earn college credit on an accelerated time line either through a yearlong or co-requisite model. Pathways include the Statistics Pathway, Quantitative Literacy Pathway, and STEM Pathway. The Texas Association of Community Colleges and the Dana Center are embarking on a statewide initiative to meet the needs of developmental math students in community colleges to support the development and implementation of the New Mathways Project.
