PROJECTS RELATED TO THE HIGH-SCHOOL-TO-COLLEGE TRANSITION
Jobs for the Future
Jobs for the Future aligns education with today’s workforce needs by identifying, developing, and promoting education and career advancement strategies that expand opportunity for low-income youth and adults. The Early College High School Initiative offers students academic rigor, combined with the opportunity to save time and money, as a motivation to work hard and meet serious intellectual challenges. Early College schools blend high school and college in a supportive program in which low-income youth, first-generation college goers, English language learners, students of color, and other young people underrepresented in higher education have the opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and college credit—tuition free.
