College Summit works in partnership with schools, school districts, and colleges to develop a sustainable model for raising college enrollment rates across the community. The organization helps educators embed a postsecondary planning structure and resources into each school. This includes a regular, for-credit College Summit class with detailed curriculum, regular teacher training, and online tools to help both teachers and students manage college applications online. Data and accountability tools help educators innovate and make course corrections mid-stream to maximize the potential for more students to go on to college. Working with College Summit, school districts build a postsecondary planning infrastructure that fosters a college going culture across each high school that includes a postsecondary course for seniors, professional development for educators, and peer leader training.
