Please call the Omni Rosen Hotel directly to make a reservation and request the group rate for the League for Innovation in the Community College's Innovations 2000 conference. All reservations require a one night's deposit (check or major credit card) for each room reserved to guarantee the reservation. These special group rates have been guaranteed until January 25, 2000, or until the block is sold out. Hotel reservations after that date are on a space-available basis. We urge you to book early. Cancellations will be accepted up to 72 hours prior to arrival date without charge, after which a one-night rate cancellation fee will be charged

Ground Transportation

The Omni Rosen Hotel is approximately 10 miles or 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. The Airport Shuttle offers continuous service from outside the baggage claim area of the airport to the Omni for $12 per person one way. Taxi service from the airport is $25.

Discounted Air Fare

The League has appointed Conventions in America as its official travel company. The company guarantees the lowest fare on any airline at time of booking and offers discounts on American Airlines and Delta Air Lines, as well as free travel services and benefits. To make flight reservations through Conventions in America, call 1-800-929-4242; refer to Group #339. Benefits include free flight insurance of $100,000, plus an additional 5-10 percent off the lowest applicable fares on American Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Some restrictions apply. Travel is valid five days before and after meeting dates. If you choose to make reservations directly with American Airlines and are calling from the United States, call 1-800-433-1790. Refer to Index #12428 to obtain the discounted conference fare. If you choose to make reservations directly with Delta Air Lines, call 1-800-241-6760 and refer to File #134162A to receive the discounted fare.

Discounted Car Rental

Special discounted rates with unlimited mileage have been negotiated for conference attendees with Hertz and are available up to one week before and one week after the event. To reserve a car at these special rates, call Conventions in America at 1-800-929-4242; refer to Group #339. If you call Hertz directly at 1-800-654-2240, ask for CV#012B0003. Cars may be picked up and dropped off at the airport or any other Hertz location in Orlando with no additional drop-off charge.
