The program for the Executive Leadership Institute is designed to give future CEOs a solid foundation for understanding and addressing key issues in 21st century community college leadership. The program is delivered by recognized national leaders in the community college field, including highly successful community college CEOs, university faculty, association leaders, senior community college trustees, and presidential search consultants. Participants will interact with this diverse array of leaders and explore a broad set of key issues and topics including:

What is the community college president's job really like?
Developing successful CEO/Board relations
The multiple roles of the CEO
The president's role in resource development
The president as internal and external leader
Successfully infusing technology into academics and administration
Future trends in demographics, technology, and society
Ethical issues in community college leadership
Cultivating a learning college culture
Negotiating the contract and handling the transition
