Student Services and Activities
In spring 2012, the Cuyahoga Community College Metropolitan Campus launched a student-centered innovation, Success Week. The purpose of Success Week was to expose students to a wide variety of themes to promote academic, career, financial, and personal success through over 30 face-to-face and online workshops in a one week timeframe. Led by faculty, staff, counseling, and external professionals, the workshops covered an assortment of topics, such as note taking techniques, managing test anxiety, navigating My Tri-C Space, financial literacy, networking, and career planning. Promoted under the creative marketing campaign, Connect 4 Success, this initiative has produced positive feedback and increased attendance with each respective offering. In the initial design of Success Week, students provided input on the format, content, and titles of the workshops, resulting in a offering that attracted hundreds of students and generated faculty support.
