2013 Innovation of the Year Project Detail.
Montgomery County Community College
Integrated Enrollment Services Department
Fourteen employees led by Cindy Haney, Kelly Sharkey, Kathleen Emery, and Joe Mancini
Student Services and Activities
The Integrated Enrollment Services department brought together the functional areas of admissions, registration, financial aid and payment, photo I.D., and parking stickers, for a more streamlined service delivery system. The new enrollment services assistants are cross-trained to provide a one-stop experience for students from application to enrollment. Some of the features include a line management system which provides clear visual and auditory queuing for students, individual overhead displays for designated stations for specific functions during peak processing, and front-facing monitors at each station that allow staff to share their screen with students in order to demonstrate various online tools and resources. Dual monitors for each station allow each assistant to process students and forms more efficiently when utilizing multiple software.
