of Directors
The
League for Innovation's board of directors consists of the chief
executive officers of the member institutions. Unlike elected boards
of other educational organizations where membership changes routinely,
a League board member serves for as long as he or she remains the
chief executive officer of a League member institution.

Nine members of the League Board of Directors have served in the
position of president of the American Association of Community Colleges.
League board members also provide national leadership at all levels
of education, holding membership on advisory councils and boards
of directors of the Education Commission of the States, Council
for the Progress of Nontraditional Study, American Council on Education,
American Association for Higher Education, Joint Council on Economic
Education, American Association for the Advancement of the Humanities,
National Center for Higher Education Management Systems, Business-Higher
Education Forum, Association of Canadian Community Colleges, American
College Testing, The College Board, Carnegie Foundation for the
Advancement of Teaching, and many others.
