All conference events will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place hotel where a block of rooms has been reserved for the conference attendees.

The Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel is the headquarters hotel for Innovations 2002. Please call the Marriott directly to make reservations using one of the following group codes and request the group rate for the League for Innovation's Innovations 2002 conference.

LICLICA - for 1 or 2 people in a room

LICLICC - for 4 people in a room in the space for group code.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card for first night's deposit and will be confirmed on receipt. The deadline for the reservations is February 21, 2002. Reservations received after the deadline will be at the group rate on a space available basis only. Deposits will be refunded in full for all cancellations received at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date. We urge you to book your hotel reservations early!

Discounted Air Fare

The League has secured discounted air fares with two of the major air carriers into Boston's Logan airport.

Discounted Rail Fare

Amtrak discount off the lowest available fare to Boston from March 14 through March 23, 2002.

This offer is not valid on Auto Train, Acela Express, Club or Business Class service and Sleeping Accommodations. Fare is valid on Metroliner Service during off-peak weekday travel and all departures on weekends.

Airport/Ground Transportation

The Marriott Copley is approximately 4 miles from the Logan Airport. Affordable options for transportation are as follows:

Rental Cars - Alamo, Avis, Hertz and Budget are at or near the airport. We strongly recommend that visitors rent cars from their hotels or downtown locations only for day trips or trips to the outer suburbs.

Taxis - Cabs are available outside all baggage claim areas. All destinations within a 12 mile radius of the airport are metered. The average charge to the Marriott Copley is $15.35.

Shuttles - Shared ride vans are available and stop at most major downtown hotels. Please be aware that there may be multiple stops depending on the number of passengers. Back Bay Coach (617-746-9909) and Logan/Boston Hotel Shuttle (617-561-9500) are just two companies offering this service at a rate between $8-20. Information for these can be found in every terminal's baggage claim area. Advance reservation is not required but recommended.
