Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado, has developed an extensive physical
education program to meet the demands of students and residents, offering a
wide range of activities and sports from archery to zumba. The newest additions
to the offerings, ice skating and ice hockey, are made available through a partnership with the municipal ice rink.

When
studies conducted by the English Department at CCBC showed that only 27
percent of students enrolled in the higher-level developmental writing
sequence passed English 101, the department decided to pilot an
enhanced version of mainstreaming. Results have been spectacular.
