It’s that time again. Preparations for the Innovations 2008 Conference are underway and the League for Innovation in the Community College is eager to announce that our 11th annual conference will take place March 2-5, 2008, amid the glorious Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. What better place to carry on the tradition of assembling today’s foremost education professionals to share their expertise and explore the latest developments in the community college.
Not only is Innovations 2008 the premier event for anyone dedicated to improving organizational teaching and learning and discovering novel approaches for enhancing the community college experience, it provides a terrific forum for collaboration among academic experts everywhere. The conference’s popularity grows each year because it grants participants exclusive access to the most inventive, thought-provoking programs and top community college professionals.
Innovations 2008 is an opportunity for colleagues around the world to showcase their model programs, to share lessons learned, and to look to the future by experiencing a wide array of learning opportunities in the following Streams: (1) Learning and Teaching, (2) Leadership and Organization, (3) Workforce Preparation and Development, (4) Student Services and Activities, (5) Basic Skills and Developmental Education, (6) Resource Development and Foundation Management, (7) Research, Assessment, and Accountability, and (8) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
