JUROR:
We are sorry to have to
announce the passing of this year's juror
Kenneth A. Kerslake
Santa Fe has selected a new juror
for this year's competition
Marcia Isaacson
Associate Dean and Director
of the School of Art & Art History and Professor of Drawing
at the University of Florida. She was a colleague and
personal friend of our original juror, Kenneth Kerslake.
Professor Isaacson received an MFA from the University of
Georgia. Her work has been included in over sixty exhibitions at
museums, galleries and universities across the country. She has
received numerous awards, including the Southern Arts
Federation/National Endowment for the Arts Regional Fellowship;
two Artist Fellowship Grants, the MacDowell Colony Fellowship;
Artist-in-Residence, University of Georgia Summer Studies Abroad
Program, Cortona, Italy. She was selected for an Award of
Excellence in Undergraduate Education, Teacher of the Year, and
a Teaching Improvement Program Award from the University of
Florida.
She
has served on the selection panels for the National Endowment
for the Arts; Illinois Arts Council and the Florida fine Arts
Council.
