Statement:	The world is shrinking in intellectual distance every year due to smartphones, the internet, face time, Google. It would seem that creative students would have a hard time, well, being creative, being original with all the billion of bit of information and ideas that are out there already in the cloud. It can be disheartening to work on a concept, a logo design for example and find someone halfway around the world had a similar vision. What inspires me is watching my students strive to be just a little bit more, look at a design problem just a bit deeper, the next time around, they may have the trending idea that everyone is finding inspiration from.
