Statement:	As humans we are all driven to learn, and we each go about this learning in our own unique ways. It is this very uniqueness that engages us with our own lives; creates fulfillment; and keeps us seeking, questioning and learning. Honoring the singular process, path, and moment of each person’s learning experience is at the heart of my approach to helping students in the library and in the classroom. It’s essential to leave space for students to find and listen to their own internal guide, put voice to their own questions and learning needs, and open up to new possibilities. Create an open environment that allows for authentic play, and we all learn that which we need to learn, whether our formal role is that of instructor or student.
