Statement:	My teaching philosophy revolves around the idea that you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar, but you can catch the most with dead squirrels. Chemistry is not boring, but a lot of chemists are. I want my class to be interesting and unexpected; if you laugh at a joke (or groan at a bad one) you will remember – not just the joke, but the material it is referencing. What will you remember if you are bored? – Probably just that you were bored.
