Statement:	What inspires me is our student’s ganas (desire) instilled in them by their families and communities to further their education. I am amazed by some of the daunting circumstances and challenges they face but in light of them, they thrive. As an educator working with first generation college students, my role is to encourage the spirit of Si Se Puede as they lay the foundation for the next generation of college going families.
