Statement:	My students inspire and motivate me. One quarter I had a homeless student who came to class from a campground where she lived in her car. She was able to find assistance, stay in class, and earn a respectable grade. Another student lost his sight during the quarter, while learning Braille, how to analyze a text, and write an analysis essay. His diligence and optimism was truly inspirational. I am inspired every day by my students, and the obstacles they overcome to achieve their academic goals.
