Statement:	Spending time in Nature, often by myself and with camera in hand, recharges my batteries and renews my spirit and appreciation of the elements. Through my field experiences, I'm starting to understand the fundamental unity that underlies all things. My students renew me every day. Their questions and comments challenge me to constantly reexamine what I know about teaching and learning. And their struggles push me to find ways to help them be successful in and outside the classroom.
