Jody DeVoe Professor, Mathematics Valencia College
Statement:	I am inspired by the existence of new technology to improve student learning. In the 1990’s, the graphing calculator gave students the power of visualization. More recently, a variety of technologies, like Jing, Educreations, and Livescribe allow quick production of videos, giving students more access to course content. My motivation is to help students see that math is both useful and understandable. Hopefully this will lead to a more positive attitude that they may pass on to others.
