Statement:	I strive for excellence in my teaching in order to see the spark of excitement in my students when they grasp a chemical concept. This is usually the result of arduous concentration and when they finally see the light, it lights up their face. They appreciate the world around them when they increase their understanding of it. The result is an engaged student who works even harder and learns more and more.
