Statement:	I challenge my student leaders to become critical thinkers who are able to broker systems, in and out of the classroom. I challenge them to become involved in the community, to attack issues with the goal of solving problems and not wallowing in the “woe is me” mentality. I want them to understand that “success is meeting the new challenge beyond every achievement.” I can honestly say that my students have taught me more about compassion, perseverance and humility than I could ever imagine.
