Statement:	As an early care and education community college instructor, I am inspired seeing my students implement strategies they learned through coursework, designed to improve the lives of children and to help strengthen society’s awareness of the important roles of families. Effective teaching focuses on three key points: passion for the content; relationships with students who can feel how much you care about the content AND about them; and assessment of student needs so that the student gets what is needed in the manner they need it for successful understanding.
